A Wedding Around the World

Some weddings make you want to relive them over and over again, even if only for a few hours. It doesn’t happen often, but when such a wedding takes place, it stands out. Tali and Doug, a couple from New York, fulfilled our dreams with a stunning “wedding around the world.”

The concept was both challenging and cool: the couple wanted to make their guests think outside the box. Their family and friends thought they were invited to a wedding, but at the reception they received flight tickets to France, Argentina, India or Italy, with their table number determining their destination and supper menu.

Each buffet was inspired by the specific country and its theme – from the smell, flavor and color palette. Our forest was colored in shades of purple, with a plethora of vegetation, while the Chuppah remained aesthetically neutral. It was incredible to take our guests on a whirlwind tour around the world, while feeling right at home.
